From harvest to identified packages
Olive oil: connect the sample, batch and bottles.
A dated observation record describes the agreed activity and covered packages. Optional independent laboratory testing adds sample-specific results, linked to the named batch through supporting records.
The production context
A real setting. A fictional engagement.
Owner-supplied photographs show olives and olive-processing equipment. They provide context for this demonstration; they are not evidence from the fictional attendance record below.

Separate third-party document
Illustrative certificate of analysis
A fictional example showing how a laboratory report may present selected olive-oil tests. An actual test panel depends on the analyses ordered and performed.
Certificate of Analysis
Illustrative format and invented data · no real laboratory issued this document
| Analysis | Illustrative result | Unit | Method / note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free acidity | 0.38 | g oleic acid / 100 g | Demo method reference |
| Peroxide value | 7.2 | meq O₂ / kg | Demo method reference |
| UV absorbance K232 | 1.74 | — | Demo method reference |
| UV absorbance K270 | 0.14 | — | Demo method reference |
| ΔK | 0.001 | — | Demo method reference |
| Total polyphenols | 347 | mg / kg | Optional illustrative panel |
Every identity, date, reference, result and value above is invented for layout demonstration. This is not a test, grade classification, compliance decision or quality claim.
Selected chemical analyses only. Sensory-panel assessment, fatty-acid profile, pesticides, contaminants and other tests are not represented as performed.
Applies only to DEMO-SAMPLE-OL-01. A real report identifies methods, dates, specifications and limitations.
Follow the record
Three records. One documented relationship.
1 · The sample
Sample ID, selection and dispatch records, receipt and tests actually reported.
2 · The batch
Manufacturer batch identification recorded within a dated, scoped observation.
3 · The packages
An exact manifest identifies the covered bottles and their assigned seal serials.
Chemical results alone do not establish the full identity, origin, sensory grade or history of every bottle. Read each result within the laboratory's stated scope.
