THE GREEK ROOT

τεκμήριον

tekmḗrion · tek-MEER-ee-on · conclusive proof

The name TEKMERIS is inspired by tekmerion, the Greek word associated with evidence or proof.

The name expresses our commitment to disciplined evidence: a clear account of what can be shown, with its limits stated.

OUR INTERPRETATION OF THE CHINESE NAME

泰勘

Tài Kān · steady observation

泰 evokes steadiness; 勘 suggests careful examination. We use the name to express careful observation and clear records.

Together, the characters express how we work. We attend, record and distinguish our observations from information supplied by others.

Three principles behind every record.

01 / LOOK BEYOND THE CLAIM

A sign is a starting point.

A certificate, a laboratory report and a production observation answer different questions. The connection to a particular batch and package needs its own evidence.

02 / IDENTIFY THE EVIDENCE

Make the source clear.

We distinguish what we observed, what others supplied and what we checked against a public record. The limits belong beside the findings.

03 / RESPECT THE LIMITS

Keep the limits visible.

A record is useful when readers can see both its evidence and its limits. Production observations, seals and laboratory reports answer different questions; none should be presented as proof of more than it establishes.

HERITAGE

Discipline, without shortcuts.

The founder’s family roots are in the Peloponnese, home of Sparta and birthplace of the Olympic Games. That heritage informs a simple working discipline: prepare carefully, observe directly and report clearly.

EXPERIENCE

Present when it matters.

Based in China since 2019, founder Konstantino Dimitropoulos worked through the disruption of the pandemic. That experience reinforced the need to connect documents with what can actually be observed on site.

TEKMERIS brings agreed factual questions to a defined production activity or facility visit. Access and scope determine what can be recorded.

Each engagement stands on its own.

A production record covers the identified activity and assigned packages. Later batches need separate engagements; a repeat-service arrangement does not approve a factory or its future production.

One discipline. Two distinct records.

The agreed scope defines the work. Neither record is regulatory approval or a guarantee of safety.

Products — the seal

An observer records agreed production activity and controls serialised tamper-evident sealing of covered packaging at the line.

Laboratory coordination and evidence are optional. Where none is recorded, the record states: No laboratory report recorded.

Facilities — the badge

A visit records dated findings within an agreed scope. Any registration check identifies the source and date; it is not licensing or certification.

A badge requires eligibility review and publication permission. It does not assess practitioner competence or assure clinical outcomes.
